This policy explains how TurboScribe AI (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use turboscribeai.com. The service turns audio and video into text in your web browser. You do not need an account.

Your recordings stay on your device

When you drop in an audio or video file, decoding and transcription run locally in your browser with WebAssembly. We do not upload that file, the extracted audio, or the finished transcript to our servers. The transcript is shown in the page so you can edit it, copy it, or download TXT, SRT, or VTT. Those exports are saved by your browser to your own device.

Closing the tab or refreshing the page clears the transcript from the page. We do not keep a copy of it.

What we do not ask for

• No account, name, or email is required to transcribe a file.
• We do not ask for a credit card. The studio is free to use.
• We do not sell recordings or transcripts, because we never receive them.

Software downloaded to your browser

The first time you transcribe, the browser downloads a speech model and, for many video files, an audio-extraction tool. Those files come from public content networks such as jsDelivr. They are cached in your browser so later runs can start faster. The download is the model and the tool, not your recording.

The page also loads fonts and the page stylesheet from Google Fonts and jsDelivr. Those requests include ordinary browser information, such as your IP address and user agent, which those providers process under their own policies.

Information our server may see

When your browser requests this website, the host may record a standard server log: the page address, the time, your IP address, and the browser type. We use those logs to keep the site available and to understand basic traffic. They do not include the contents of a file you transcribe.

Cookies and advertising

The transcription studio itself does not set an account cookie. If advertising is shown on the site, Google and its partners may use cookies to measure and deliver ads. You can control ad cookies in your browser settings and through Google’s ad settings.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date. Continued use of the site after that date means you accept the updated policy.
