The service

TurboScribe AI is a free browser tool that converts video and audio into text, including TXT, SRT, and VTT exports. Transcription runs on your device. There is no sign-up and no paid plan.

We may change, pause, or stop the service at any time. Features such as supported formats, languages, and export options can change as the site is updated.

Your files

You keep all rights in the audio, video, and transcripts you create. You are responsible for having the right to use any recording you open in the studio. Do not upload or transcribe material you are not allowed to process.

Because processing happens in your browser, you are also responsible for the device, browser, and network you use. A slow device, a blocked download, or an unsupported file can stop a transcription.

Acceptable use

Use the site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Interfere with the site, other visitors, or the networks that deliver the page and the speech model.
• Attempt to break, overload, or reverse the service in order to disrupt it.
• Use the site to infringe copyright, privacy, or any other right.
• Misrepresent a machine transcript as a certified, official, or human-verified record.

Accuracy

Transcripts are produced by an automated speech model. Clear speech is usually easier to transcribe. Noise, overlapping speakers, accents, and poor recordings can reduce quality. Review and edit the text before you rely on it. TurboScribe AI does not provide legal, medical, or official transcription services.

Intellectual property

The site design, text, name, and logo of TurboScribe AI belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy them for your own product without permission. Your recordings and the transcripts you export remain yours.

The speech model, fonts, and browser libraries are third-party software. They are loaded so the studio can run, and they remain subject to their own licenses.

Disclaimer

The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that transcription will be accurate, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that every file format or every browser will work.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, TurboScribe AI is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site. Because the service is free and your files stay on your device, our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to zero.

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. The effective date will change when we do. If you keep using the site after that date, you accept the updated terms.
